Meet Team 83

State Executive Council

Executive Council members represent the DECA student members from across the state. Executive officers serve a one-year term and are elected each year by membership during the annual Career Development Conference. These leaders represent our state association at various conferences, meetings, and special events during their term in office. In addition, they also help plan our annual fall and state leadership conferences.

State Executive Council Fundraising Initiative:

The 2025–26 State Executive Council has set an ambitious fundraising goal for the year — and they’re working hard to meet it. Fundraising is an important part of their leadership journey, teaching valuable skills like budgeting, project planning, communication, and financial responsibility.

​By raising their own funds, the team is able to support their initiatives, attend leadership events, and bring new ideas to life that benefit DECA members across the state — all while learning how to lead with purpose and accountability.

Curious to see how they do? An update will be shared at CDC 2026, where we’ll celebrate their progress and announce whether they reached their goal!
