Shark Tank

We understand that competition can be stressful. That is why we are providing  a Shark Tank viewing room that will be available throughout the day of competition. Students will be able to come and go as their schedule allows, watch episodes of Shark Tank, and take their mind off of the stress of competition. The viewing room will be locate don the 1st floor in the Theatre Room.

Parade of Presidents

At the beginning of the Opening General Session, we will introduce all local chapter presidents on stage. Local chapter presidents should report backstage at the Hudiburg Chevrolet Center at 7:00 p.m. Feb. 12, 2019.

Advisor Work Schedule

We understand that you are busy during conference, but we need your help to make CDC successful!

The schedule will be sent out prior to the conference with advisor work schedules. Please arrive at your work assignment a few minutes prior to the time shown on the schedule. If there are any problems with your assigned time, please let us know before the conference starts. Please keep in mind that if you fail to report to your scheduled time it slows down the competitive event process, which ultimately affects our students. They’ve worked hard to get here. Please help ensure they have a positive experience. We’ll do our best to limit the amount of time you’re away from students.

Keynote Speaker

Brian Imbus is one of the most popular entertainers in the United States. Over the past 20 years, he has performed at over 4000 professional engagements, he has Hypnotized over 100,000 people, and he has won numerous accolades from internationally recognized associations. His annual tour includes over 200 appearances, all over the world. Brian’s unique blend of Mind Magic and Hypnosis will be an event to remember!

Voting Delegates

Each chartered chapter will be allowed two voting delegates. The number of advisors/programs within the school does not qualify the number of voting delegates, but the charter itself does. The voting session will be held on February 12, 2019 at 9:30 p.m.

Voting delegates must provide their own mobile devices that are Wi-Fi-enabled to access the online ballots.

IMPORTANT:  Voting members must have their voting delegate ribbon on and visible in order to take part in the voting process. Replacement ribbons will not be provided should they be lost for any reason.

Conference Evaluation

The 2019 Conference Evaluation will be online, and the link will be given during the Grand Awards Session.  Please encourage your students to complete the evaluation to provide feedback to improve future conferences.
