Aspire to Inspire

Behind the Theme…

We can all think of someone who has made a difference in our lives whether its a peer that we’ve looked up to, a friend who has encouraged us to take the next step, or a leader who’s motivated us simply by the way they’ve led. This is the inspiration behind our 2019-2020 Fall Leadership Conference. We are proud to invite you to be a part of ASPIRE TO INSPIRE. We want to build upon your aspirations for a great year of leadership and inspire you to raise up the next generation of Oklahoma DECA and BPA leaders. At FLC, we will not only look at the qualities of a good leader, but we’ll also take time you show you the leadership qualities you already possess while developing other areas as well. We have many exciting things in store. You won’t want to miss the Oklahoma BPA and DECA 2019-2020 Fall Leadership Conference: ASPIRE TO INSPIRE. Hope to see you there!

However, don’t be like Rex when it comes to not understanding the labor laws and employment standards. This session will give participants the confidence, knowledge, and resources to speak up and speak out when it comes to confronting young worker rights and safety. Via the statewide Speak Out for Workplace Safety video contest, students can show off their enthusiasm to Aspire to Inspire by creating a public service announcement that will teach their peers about safety on the job. Winning videos will be honored at the State Capitol and the Top 3 entries will be awarded cash prizes. Roar loudly and enter today!
