Bio: With a goal to help improve Oklahoma DECA and bring us to a higher international presence through increased membership and competition, this high school senior ran for state president. Grace says her favorite thing about DECA is meeting people from all over the world. Grace’s ambition and ability to plan are what make her a DECA-mazing leader.

What is unique about Grace? She loves to collect pins (not just DECA ones) and stickers!

 


Duties: It shall be the duty of the President to preside over all Executive Council meetings; to make all necessary committee appointments, including the designation of each committee chairperson; develop a program of work for the term in office; and to be available, as necessary, in promoting the general welfare of DECA.

Bio:  This leader from Edmond Santa Fe High School says that his best qualities are being interested and interesting. Aarav’s favorite part about DECA is that one has the opportunity to connect with leaders from all sorts of backgrounds through competition, community service, and other events. Whether one has the opportunity to connect with another CTSO or students from their community it is always worthwhile.

What is unique about Aarav? He is on a boy band dance team made up of 5 guys who compete annually during Edmond’s philanthropy week.


Duties: It shall be the duty of the elected Vice President of Leadership to practice the “Emerging Leaders” element of the DECA Mission, including all non-competitive event career and leadership activities; and to be available, as necessary, in promoting the general welfare of DECA.

Bio:  With a goal to connect with OK DECA members and implement more community service projects, this DECA leader is active in her local DECA chapter in Norman.  Mackenzie recalls her favorite thing about DECA as meeting new people and getting to compete. She descries her two best qualities as being hardworking and someone who is kind to others.

What is unique about Mackenzie? She has traveled to 18 different countries.


Duties: It shall be the duty of the elected Vice President of Career Development to practice the “Careers” element of the DECA Mission, including chapter participation preparation and performance in Competitive Events; and to be available, as necessary, in promoting the general welfare of DECA.

Bio:  Coming from Latta High school this loyal and fearless leader is ready to serve! Abby describes her favorite part of DECA being the experiences she gets to have with her local chapter and others in the state.

What is unique about Abby?  She has her own way of thinking and believing. Abby lives by the quote:  “Actions speak louder than words” and she holds herself and others to that quote.


Duties: It shall be the duty of the elected Vice President of Marketing to practice the “Marketing” element of the DECA Mission, including initial member recruitment, branding and promotions; and to be available, as necessary, in promoting the general welfare of DECA.
