Bio: This senior at Latta High School knows that a successful leader is personable, professional, and inspirational; and as a second term state officer and the current President of Oklahoma DECA, Austin uses these qualities to lead Council 77. When he joined DECA he was interested in preparing for his future business career, but his journey has evolved into much more, including several ICDC trips. In his free time Austin likes to fish and spend time with his friends.


Duties: It shall be the duty of the President to preside over all Executive Council meetings; to make all necessary committee appointments, including the designation of each committee chairperson; develop a program of work for the term in office; and to be available, as necessary, in promoting the general welfare of DECA.

Bio:  This senior from Edmond believes that phenomenal leaders are bold, outgoing, and lead by example. Kyla joined DECA to be a servant leader to others in the organization and constantly strives to be a positive role model. When this aspiring business event planner isn’t busy being “DECA-cated” she enjoys golfing, singing, and planning.


Duties: It shall be the duty of the elected Vice President of Leadership to practice the “Emerging Leaders” element of the DECA Mission, including all non-competitive event career and leadership activities; and to be available, as necessary, in promoting the general welfare of DECA.

Bio:  DECA started as just a class for this future anesthesiologist, but after attending her first CDC her life was changed and she found love for everything that DECA represents. As a senior from Warr Acres, Valerie has learned that the best leaders are great listeners, effective communicators, and understanding humans. When she finds some spare time, Valerie’s favorite pastime is playing fetch with her dog Maya.


Duties: It shall be the duty of the elected Vice President of Career Development to practice the “Careers” element of the DECA Mission, including chapter participation preparation and performance in Competitive Events; and to be available, as necessary, in promoting the general welfare of DECA.

Bio:  This aspiring talk show host joined DECA out of jealousy when her sister got to attend ICDC in California, but her love for the organization has since grown into a passion that can’t be extinguished. LaBraia knows that a great leader is kind, honest, and stands out from the crowd. Being a junior at Edmond Santa Fe High School keep LaBraia busy, but she still finds time to participate in student council, singing, and coloring.


Duties: It shall be the duty of the elected Vice President of Marketing to practice the “Marketing” element of the DECA Mission, including initial member recruitment, branding and promotions; and to be available, as necessary, in promoting the general welfare of DECA.

Bio:  With a goal to better the experience and education of the members, this future financial analyst joined his local DECA chapter.  Xavier recalls his most memorable event being when he was elected VP of Hospitality for Oklahoma DECA and strives to be a honest and dedicated leader. When this junior from Ada finds from free time he enjoys swimming, playing piano, and video games.


Duties: It shall be the duty of the elected Vice President of Hospitality to practice the “Hospitality” element of the DECA Mission, including connecting members to a welcome, value-filled and fund educational experience; and to be available, as necessary, in promoting the general welfare of DECA.
