Please note that while there are many aspects to running for office and extensive details to be attentive to on the application, the experience is worth every minute of preparation. It is important to pay close attention to deadlines and the specific details of the process.

The following packet contains important information concerning Oklahoma Collegiate DECA State Executive Council Appointment. Ensure that you completely review the Local Chapter Section pertaining to your duties in relation to DECA State Executive Council Candidates. Review the Election Information section for information regarding voting delegate responsibilities and election procedures. Please forward the appropriate information to those members interested in applying for office.
- Candidates should print the Candidate Checklist in the forms section of this handbook to ensure completion of all required documentation.
- Candidates who submit incomplete OR late application forms and materials will be automatically eliminated (all required items are included on the Candidate Checklist)
- NO handwritten documents will be accepted. All candidate information MUST be keyed.
- ALL candidate information must be submitted on decaok.org by March 4, 2022.
