Dear Oklahoma DECA
As I look back at my term I see a kaleidoscope of memories. One of my favorites was when we were at OK Summit in Tulsa, I was able to experience my birthday with an amazing group of people. All our meetings where we managed to have fun while getting our important business done. We all worked towards making Oklahoma DECA better and I truly believe that we succeeded.

My heart overflows with gratitude to my fellow officers and advisors that got us here. They’re more than a team to me, they’re all my confidantes, my rocks, and without them I don’t know where’d I be. These moments weren’t just milestones, they’re a testament to our collective drive to accomplish our goals. I remember when I first sat in the chair waiting to be interviewed, I was so nervous being only 4 months into DECA and making decision that big. It was a new road and I knew it wasn’t going to be easy, but had I not done it I would’ve never had the chance to meet and interact with so many lovely people.

Walking across that stage and accepting my position was a liberating experience, I felt like I was on top of the world. The support I received was something that I never expected. If I’ve learned anything from this past year in office it’s that anything, and I mean anything can happen, so don’t let fear of what could happen stop you from reaching for your goals. Now, it has been my greatest honor to have served all of Oklahoma and I hope I have represented you all to the best of my abilities. Thank you all and the faith you held in me when voting in February of 2023, you all will achieve incredible things in life,

bye Oklahoma DECA
