I am thankful for many things this year but specifically I am thankful for DECA!

I’ve been a DECA member since my sophomore year and I just love it and wouldn’t trade it for any other organization. I am thankful for being a part of an amazing organization, chapter and SEC team and I enjoy it to the fullest. I gained new friendships along the way that I basically count on as family.

Throughout DECA I was given many opportunities to travel and I am thankful for that because without DECA I would not be able to even go outside of the great state of Oklahoma. Additionally, I am very appreciative of DECA allowing me to grow as an individual and to better understand business marketing and leadership. It is beneficial for me to understand this because I have the advantage of finding my major early on. Also, I am grateful to have found many of my strengths through DECA and my weaknesses that I can now work on.

Lastly, I would love to give thanks to all DECA members for staying strong throughout the toughest year by far and for supporting our amazing organization so we can continue growing DECA-mazing memories!
