DECA Headlines

In this post, I would like to recognize Latta High School for all the hard work they have accomplished. I am incredibly proud of this chapter. They recently participated in Oklahoma DECA’s Miracle Month service project and raised over $100! Miracle Month supports children who have Muscular Dystrophy, and the money we raise goes to help families in need. Many people think of DECA as a place to compete and to develop leadership skills, but DECA also encourages us to think of others and help our community. Community service is a terrific way for DECA members to get involved and give back. In this way, students can not only make a meaningful difference but also can also find opportunities to increase their communication skills and learn more about their community. Be sure to follow Latta High School and DECA Inc. on social media to find out more about how you can get involved with the community. We encourage you to take part in these activities and build an even stronger bond with your local chapter. Latta High School has been an example and has shown us all how we can do this and make a difference!
