One year ago, I was given the privilege of serving as a State Officer for Oklahoma DECA. Throughout my term, I learned a lot and got to meet some awesome people along the way. This opportunity wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our wonderful members. To them, I’d like to thank you for giving me a years-long experience that will last a lifetime. I hope that the 2019-2020 year was everything you hoped it could be. I’d also like to thank the individuals I worked with on the State Executive Council. It’s with our teamwork that allowed Oklahoma DECA to operate as strongly as it has been. 

If there are two things that will never change, it’s taxes and change itself. Saying goodbye has never been one of my strongest qualities. The memories and attachments made always makes it difficult to say goodbye to something you love. But, change is inevitable and should be embraced with open arms. It’s only through change that we, as a whole, can properly grow and expand to fill our true potential. 

With that, I’d like to say farewell Oklahoma DECA. I can’t wait to see the change the unlocks the next chapter in our organization!
